Todara Privacy Policy
Effective date: September 3, 2026
Todara is designed as an offline, private to-do app. This policy explains what Todara stores and what information may be processed by services required to display advertising and handle the optional Remove Ads purchase.
Data stored by Todara
Tasks, notes, preferences, focus history, reminders, and attached documents are stored locally on your device. Todara does not require an account and does not send this information to a Todara server.
Notifications
If you enable a task reminder, Todara requests notification permission and schedules the reminder locally on your device. You can change notification permission in your device settings.
Advertising and consent
Todara displays one small banner advertisement on the main task screen. It does not show interstitial, rewarded, app-open, or other full-screen advertisements.
Todara uses Google Mobile Ads and explicitly requests only non-personalized advertisements. Google and its advertising partners may process device, advertising, interaction, diagnostic, and approximate-location information to deliver and measure advertisements, secure the service, and prevent fraud.
Where required, Todara uses Google's User Messaging Platform to present consent choices before requesting an advertisement. You can review or change available advertising privacy choices in Todara under Preferences → Advertising privacy.

Optional Remove Ads purchase
Todara offers an optional one-time purchase that permanently removes the banner advertisement. Purchases are processed by Apple's App Store or Google Play under their respective privacy policies. Todara receives the product and transaction status needed to unlock or restore the purchase, but does not receive payment-card or bank-account information. The ad-free entitlement is cached on the device and is not included in exported backups.
Backups and sharing
You can explicitly export a JSON backup through your device's share sheet. You choose where that file is saved or sent. Attached documents are embedded in the backup and may make it large. Scheduled reminders are not included. Todara does not upload backups automatically.
Other third parties
Todara does not include an app-operated analytics service, accounts, a developer-operated payment service, or cloud synchronization. Apple or Google processes the optional store purchase, and the operating system may process information according to its own policies.
Your choices
You can delete tasks and documents inside Todara, disable notifications in device settings, change advertising consent where the consent form provides that option, or stop using the app. Locally stored data can be removed by deleting the app or using the app's data-management features.
